Chapter 32

All Victoria wanted was to go back home and confront Elizabeth. She couldn't believe Elizabeth had the file all along and lied about it.

The fact that it was kept under her pillow made her believe Elizabeth definitely saw the file. Why did she do this to her? Victoria thought to herself.

When she had gotten the office, she was relieved to give the file to Mr Smith and they concluded the meeting.

She felt grateful to him as he was the one that had encouraged her to go back home and check.

"So what happened to you earlier today?" Rebecca asked.

Victoria snapped back to reality as she was lost deep in her thoughts. Elizabeth had adamantly denied seeing the file and had told her it would be fine when the file was in her hands.

There was no denying that Elizabeth took the file as it was under her pillow and couldn't have gotten there if she didn't put them there herself.

"Victoria!" Rebecca called.
