Chapter 36. Catching It All on Camera

Immediately Roxanne heard someone coming their way, she fought out Lance's kiss and skillfully pulled him to the side of her car into hiding.

She could barely make out who it was that was approaching them, but it appeared to be two young men, maybe their own age, who looked a bit disheveled. They were not dressed for this weather at all. One had a black knit cap, and the other was wearing a woolen stocking cap that looked like the one Roxanne had knitted for Lance. Both had long brown hair, and they were talking and laughing, so much that Roxanne could hear their voices from her hiding spot in the shadows.

“The little Ms. Cube looked so embarrassed.” One said and crackled mindlessly.

“Serves her right.” Input the other as he fumbled with the keys of his car, unlocked the car and pulled the door open. “That would teach ladies like her to go for someone more her class.”

“Her class? Are you speaking of yourself?” His friend asked in mockery.
