I got up early and noticed that Lucy’s birthday was tomorrow when I looked at the calendar. Nanny Lily was already cooking when I walked downstairs to the kitchen to make coffee.

“Good morning, Nanny Lily!” I said, smiling.

“Good morning too. You obviously got up early today,” said Nanny Lily.

“I have a plan, Nanny Lily. I’m thinking about what to do because Lucy’s birthday is coming up,” I said.
