I went straight to the parking lot with Dad after the event. Bruce, Lucy, and their moms and dads went with us.

“Do you want to celebrate at the house?” Dad asked.

“That’s embarrassing,” Bruce’s father said.

“Don’t be shy; I told you that everything was prepared,” Daddy said.

“Okay, then,” Lucy’s and Bruce’s parents said.

We all left for home. Bruce and I still didn’t talk. Perhaps it is time for me to forgive him truly. I don’t want Dad to know that Bruce and I ignore each other.

The gates and door were open as we got close to the house. We instantly exited the vehicle and went inside. I waited for everyone.

“I’m happy for all three of us,” I said.
