Chapter 24. Lucy’s Birthday

In the early morning, Vince and I continued to decorate the space. A short while later, Vince prepared breakfast for the two of us while I set up additional decorations.

“Let’s eat first,” Vince said.

I sat down on the chair right away, and we both ate.

“I hope Lucy likes what we made for her,” I said.

“Your work is so lovely, so obviously, she will enjoy it,” Vince said.

“I certainly hope so, and I want to thank you for helping. Without you, I might have found it difficult to complete it on my own,” I said while smiling at him.

“I promised you I’d support you no matter what,” Vince said.

When we finished eating, Vince immediately took a shower, and I put the wine in the refrigerator. After Vince finished, I took a shower too.
