Chapter 104. Her Worst Nightmare

Maddie did not know what was going on, she just felt incredibly sleepy and like she could pass out at any moment, but her body would not allow it for some reason. 

She had no real control of her actions and was losing more control as the time went by. “Who–who are you? Jacob, is that you?” She asked, but the cologne of the person did not match the one she knew Jacob wore. 

This was a different person, this was not Jacob. Was she safe? Fear grabbed her heart and she tried to pull away but her body would not let her. Her heart started to race and she mumbled, “Leave me alone,” but her words came out so slurred that they did not even make sense to anyone but herself. 

“Don’t fight it, baby,” The man said to her, his voice was a bit hoarse. “You’re going to be just fine,” He assured her but she did not trust him. She wanted Jacob, where was he? 

Her eyelids suddenly began to get really heavy and even though she was trying her best to fight against it
