Maddie did not know how to react, she felt a shiver run down her spine as Nate asked the question. She met his gaze, trying to find the right words to say but she still could not come up with one. 

“Ready for what?” She finally asked, even though she knew the answer to the question. 

Nate swallowed, he too was nervous. He was not a virgin and he knew that Maddie was not one, but he really liked her and for the first time, he was about to be intimate with her. “Are you ready for me to mark you as mine?” His voice was now more baritone. 

Maddie let out a small shudder and instead of responding verbally, she started to remove her clothing until she was finally bare. She was literally naked and had no piece of clothing covering her body.
