Immediately father walked away, I turned to Lucian. His facial expression mirrored mine, we both looked at each other with the look of intense fright on our faces.

We both know what would happen if we don’t honor father’s words. We both know that father will raise hell if Cassian does not show up at his office like he asked.

But how is that even going to be possible?! How can we get Cassian here! That is impossible because first of all, the last time we checked which was a few hours ago, Cassian was weak.
