Dorian’s POV

Duncan holding a gun is dangerous and scary not because of the possibility of him shooting but because of how clumsy he is. He can just mistakenly pull the trigger and that will be more embarrassing than being kidnapped and shot on purpose.

Imagine being shot by mistake, I’d have to go to the hospital and explain to the doctor that a clumsy mother fucker shot me by mistake.

I’d rather just die than be that embarrassed but unfortunately even that is impossible…I cannot be killed, at least not by mortal instruments.

So knife, gun, hammers, whatever, they cannot kill us. My dad, my brothers and I are what the werewolf kind refer to as “Supreme wolves”. It’s in the bloodline. Rumors has it that it was actually a curse placed on us by the moon goddess. That she cursed the fore-runner of our generation with immortality because he tried to usurp her from the throne.

That story makes me laugh every single time, I mean who believes in fables?
