Chapter 31

Justin’s POV

It felt like I was being marched to my death.

Two hefty scary looking guys stood at either of my sides. Their faces were completely stern. Their eyes were as cold as steel in the winter. They walked militantly like soldiers being sent to the war front, like commanders that were sent to retrieve an enemy.

“Walk!” One of them yelled and then proceeded to kick me in the shin despite the fact that I was walking as fast as I could. We walked down a hollow hallway to an unknown destination. The hallway looked like something built ages back, sometimes meant for a totally different era. The stony walls looked a bit greenish with algae infestation. There were unsealed cracks in the wall, these cracks had water coming in from them. The lower parts of our legs were completely swallowed in greenish water.
