Dorian’s POV

I got ready quickly, contemplating whether was wrong for me not to have taken a quick shower. I could hardly even breathe from how nervous I was feeling, taking a bath felt impossible. The thoughts of Justin and what he must be going through, what Max was probably putting him through etched in my mind.

I had spent the first few minutes after Anora left just staring and blaming myself for putting Justin through this mess. His life was perfect before he knew me, according to the stories he told about his high school, he was a star student, the best in his class. He was the person that always brought the medals and trophies back him. He was his parents pride and joy. Everything was going well for him.

Everything was settled, after University, he was going to take over his father’s company as well as train under his father’s cabinet to be the next head of the human sect.
