“Why are you sitting there like that?”
“Are you… are we not going to try to find a way to make this right?”
“Are you not worried? Even a little bit,”
Cassian ignored all my questions, he slipped his head phone on for full effect. He rolled his eyes at me. He looked…tired like he ran a marathon race and there was still like a thousand yards remaining. He also looked irritated, and from it seems like that irritation was directed at me and potentially the fact that I am pacing in front of him like a maniac after potentially ruining his relationship with the potential love of his life.
“Oh goddess, she hates me! She hates me! Lyra is the only friend I have ever had in my life and she hates me!” I tried to breathe, tried to stop pacing and just stand or seat or stay still. I couldn’t, no matter how I tried, pacing, moving felt like the only right thing to do.
