The counteroffer was good enough for Marcus to sign with the Wolverines and stay in the Washington DC area. Shane was happy about the deal and happy for Marcus since it seemed to have been his preference. Training Camp was coming up and as always, it was a great way to see how each player was handling himself after the offseason. Shane continued to keep his client list small and exclusive. Quality over quantity. His clients had his attention 24-7 and they knew it.
Opening day of camp was a scorcher. The sun was beating down and Shane was sweating even though he was dressed casually in athletic shorts and a t-shirt. At the moment he was grateful he wasn’t out there on the field running drills. Marcus was looking good out there. Shane spotted one of the newly drafted kids and kept an eye on him.
