Chapter 21. Curious

A gentle breeze hit every strand of Selena's beautifully flowing hair. The woman who was closing her eyes felt a softness from the wind that was so soothing. But all that calmness was soon replaced with a cold and chaotic aura of darkness. Selena opened her eyes slowly and found herself at the top of an iceberg.

As far as the eye could see, Selena found nothing but endless white and cold scenery. The initially peaceful wind turned into a strong gust, so hard and piercing to the bone. The rumbling sound of cracking ice was heard after the wind hit Selena's tiny body.

Selena felt uncomfortable; she had to leave the top of the iceberg, which was so high and lonely. She turned around, looking for a path that could lead her to a warm place that was much better than this place. However, as she walked, her steps were stopped by a large shadow that suddenly appeared in front of her.

The shadow formed the figure of a giant dark black wolf with eyes that burned red as if ho
