William's POV

I saw Amelia and Sophie arrive back at their seats through the glass window beside my door and I sighed in relief.

With the way she is chatting freely with Sophie, has she really forgotten that I am here? Not even coming in for once!

I saw Manager Lee approaching them with some blue files in her hand and I smiled. Even though those files means more work for me, at least Amelia would finally come in here.

I looked down back at my laptop as I waited for her arrival. I do not want to seem so eager to see her like I was already expecting her before. So, when that knock sounded on the door, I did not look up.

"Come in!", I called out loudly, in case she does not hear me. I mean, she is new to the job. She can't possibly be used to how I reply already.
