Chapter 39. A Well-Thought-Out Plan

It was two o'clock in the morning when Scott set foot in his cousin Ryan's house. His steps were shaky as he walked inside, unconcerned with the dark and black room. He walked to his room with his eyes closed. Her mind was still drifting somewhere. Ever since the news came out of Sandy's mouth, he couldn't seem to find his feet.

Scott's steps suddenly stopped as he passed Sarah's slightly open room. He peered through the doorway to see what was in there.Scott opened the door casually.

"You're just home?" Ryan asked with a confused face. He wasn't wearing any clothes and only had a thick blanket underneath him.

Scott looked them up and down. It looked flat but was piercing. Sarah was the one who looked the most mischievous. She quickly buried herself in the blanket, hiding her flushed face.

"You opened the door on purpose during sex?" Scott asked with a smirk on his lips. "There's no need to hide; I already saw some of it."

"You-" Ryan pointed at Scott's face,
