"Grab them, both of them," Grant said.
Malia shuddered, feeling the sticky liquid spill out of her and trail down her thighs. She wished she could see what was going on in the room. All she could hear was footsteps and the sounds of struggling. She felt someone crouch down in front of her and pull her up.
"Hey," Grant said, his eyes scanning her face. He held her up by her shoulders, his eyes surveying the damage to her body. He paused over the cut on her ribs, his eyes hardening.
Malia didn't know if to cry, scream, or kick him. She felt relieved to see him, at the same time angry that he took so damn long to show up.
"You're… late." She said, tears choking her. "You're so fucking late!"
He didn't reply, silently untying her feet.
"Say something!"
"I don't have anything to say."
