Third-Person POV
Emily was awakened by the continuous buzzing of her phone.
She blindly grabbed the phone to kill the alarm but was quickly snapped out of her drowsy state when her eyes widened at the time.
In a panicked frenzy, she jumped out of bed.
It was 9 a.m.
She couldn’t believe it. How did she manage to sleep over three hours of buzzing alarms?
And why the hell didn’t Ava wake her?
Her last thoughts seemed to spark the memories of the previous night and they immediately came flooding.
Her cheeks burned bright pink.

Her boss and best friend’s brother kissed her and she enjoyed every second of it.
Every second of it until her phone buzzed with a text message, bringing the moment to an end.
Alex had scurried off after a quick apology and she had spent the most of her night tossing and replaying the moment in her head.
