Alex’s POV

This shit is crazy.

What the hell does she even see in that ugly condescending person?

I ran my hand through my hair as I watched her storm out of the car. Why was she angry? I was the one who was meant to get angry. That guy had kissed her and she did not seem to mind

I got down from the car and walked to my office, my mind filled with Emily

How did I go from detesting women to not being able to think straight because of one damn woman.

It’s crazy.

I poured myself a glass of whiskey and tried to get myself to think about anything else other than the girl who was running through my mind.

I picked up a stick of cigar and lit it up, dragging and puffing out the smoke.

The door to my office was pushed open and Ezra walked in.

“shit… what the hell is wrong this time?” He asked as he took his seat on the chair.
