The car ride to the dinner venue was short and uneventful though Dom did send a wink or two every time Iris looked at him. In ten short minutes, they had reached their destination. Like a perfect gentleman, Dom opened the vehicle door for his mate and held out a hand for her to take.

No one had ever treated her like a girl before. All anybody could ever see was a multi-breed abomination, the only one of her species. The way Dom treated her, made her finally feel that feminine side of herself that had been suppressed for so long. She smiled delicately and took his hand to step out of the vehicle and Freddie quickly drove away to park and get out of their way for the rest of the night.
