“I was bitten by a werewolf!” Iris confessed.

Confused, Dom asked, “Wait. So how are you alive? Werewolf bites are lethal. The venom is fatal, even in the tiniest amount.” Iris smiled at him sadly,

“So what is a wolf’s bite’s counter? How was a wolf born inside you? I have never seen or heard of anything of this sort in my entire life of two millennia!” Dom asked curiously.

“You are double my age?” Iris exclaimed. Dom gave her an exasperated look,

“That is what you gathered?” Dom gave her an exasperated look. She gave a breath of an almost laugh and Dom’s eyes softened.

“I am glad you are feeling better.” Iris looked down, almost guiltily. Dom quickly made her look up with a tender finger pushing her chin up to meet his eyes.
