Knock! Knock!

Lady Marie sat knitting in her room as she heard Dom knock softly on her door. She put away her knitting materials and allowed Dom to enter. She smiled instantly at the sight of her Grandson, who looked a lot like his father. Lady Marie tapped the place next to her on the comfortable divan she was sitting on and Dom smiled at his grandmother and sat beside her.

In his heart, he knew some serious words were going to be exchanged because Lady Marie occasionally asked him to sit close and it had always been on important matters, especially the ones that involved him personally with the Dargon family.

“Hey, Nana! I see you have started knitting again.” He tried to start the conversation when she had sat silently for five minutes.

“That! Oh yes, yes. For my great-grandchildren.” She hinted at the topic of conversation, to which Dom awkwardly nodded. Lady Marie then looked directly at him and asked softly, “Do you know why I have called you here today
