“I want to see Y today!” declared a very determined Iris to her astonished mate.

Yesterday was a very long day. And the night seemed longer.

But when Iris woke up the next morning, she felt cocooned in a fresh warm feeling. The feeling of walking on clouds and being accepted, having a family and a place to call home, knowing you are loved and can finally look ahead at the future and plan for it. It was an exhilarating set of emotions and Iris felt high on them. It was like a thousand light bulbs were turned on simultaneously and chased the darkness away from her.
