I smiled to myself, I have been doing that a lot lately.

She made me happy and for that, I have to protect her, I told her I would but she didn't believe me, she thought I was one to make empty promises.

That's not who I am, even in my former life. I have kept every promise I made, to myself and to people that I care about.

The news of the man's death has spread like wildfire and I wasn't doing anything to stop it, the authorities were looking into the possible culprit but he had lots of enemies.

You can't assault people like they mean nothing and except to have friends, I promised to help them in the investigation as it is related to my company but it was a futile attempt, the person left a clean track.
