Chapter 14. Pure Heart (5)

It was JaeMin who heard the doorbell ring at ten in the morning, but it was me who checked who was knocking.

When I opened the door, I came face to face with a boy. He looked at me somewhat startled, sighed, glanced at a small piece of paper he had in his hands, and looked at me again.

"This is Song JaeMin's residence?" he asked.

I furrowed my brow as I looked at him and nodded. He sighed again and seemed somewhat pensive and hesitant before speaking again.

"I'm Song Jun-Ho. I am... JaeMin's brother."

For a moment, I stopped and stared into the boy's eyes. I could have laughed if I didn't know that JaeMin actually has two siblings he has never met.

The boy had a backpack on his back and was wearing a school uniform, which led me to assume he was from his school, the same school he was definitely skipping.

"Brother?" I asked.

"Yes. I would like to talk to him... Is he here?&quo
