I had seen and heard for years how JunKoo talked about wanting to have a family, and how he talked about it being his greatest dream. But maybe starting with a child that didn't carry his DNA was the wrong way to go about it, or maybe he was so convinced that it was his family that he was turning a blind eye to all the problems that his choice might bring as well.
I thought about how painful it would be for him to put down roots, and suddenly the baby's father would leave him. He wouldn't even have rights over the child, JunKoo would be devastated.
However, he seemed to be right about it working out. JunKoo really had a family, while I remained alone.
I still missed him terribly, and we didn't even speak to each other by texting properly. I thought that I would never see his face in person again, until one day I got to see him.
