I was cooking with great enthusiasm. Jiwan observed quietly.

SiJoon hadn't arrived yet, and that made me a little worried since it had been a long time, and JaeMin could arrive at any moment and nothing would be ready.

"Do you think I'm crazy?" I looked at Jiwan in the high chair while stirring the pot. "I'm just a passionate father, you understand, right?"

"Not even I understand you," SiJoon appeared in the kitchen, scaring the hell out of me. "Let alone the child."

"What the hell, you trying to give me a heart attack?" I saw him smile and put some bags on the counter. "Did you find the candles?"

"No, but I found some paper lanterns that the vendor said had the same effect."

"Are you sure?"

"Not really, but he said so... What are you doing?"

"Spaghetti carbonara... It's a recipe Sara taught me."
