MARGA’S POINT OF VIEW

I was about to leave his office when Marco suddenly opened the door.

“Are you okay, Marga?” He walked towards me. “Did you cry?” he asked me worriedly.

“No. I’m fine,” I smiled at him.

“Dad, what did you do?” He turned to his dad.

“I didn’t do anything, son. I just talked to her.” his dad calmly said while at his desk.

Marco and I went out of the office, he saw everyone looking at us, that’s why he held my hands. This was the first time we held hands, and I felt awkward.

“Where are we going?” I asked him.

“we’re going home,” he said, “Let Auntie take care of baby Emi tonight. We need to talk,” he said as he started the car.

It was a quiet drive on our way to the condo. I sometimes look at Marco while driving, but he was focused on driving.

“Where’s the nanny?” I asked him.

“I told her to go to your aunt’s place,” he said, and I nodded.

“So, why did you go to my father’s office?” he sighed.
