Chapter 12. Crushing on Me

“Damn, he looks so cute,” Nancy said to herself, adjusting her ergonomic chair.

After the incident a while ago, she had been staring at Rick from her desk. Instead of composing the new story she had gathered and typing it on her computer, she continued to stare in admiration of Rick.

Rick was having a conversation with Mr. Steve. He handed Rick a new file containing names of prominent people in the city he would love him to invite to his show, the Brown Show. They both stood next to Mr. Steve’s office entrance. Rick had never noticed that Nancy had been staring at him in admiration. He was focused on his conversation with Mr. Steve. When the conversation was finally over, he turned to make his way.

First, his eyes narrowed down to Nancy’s desk. Hastily, she looked away, pretending she was searching for something on her desk. He never noticed what was going on. All he could feel was the guilt of what happened a while ago when he barged in on her in the ladies’ room.
