Chapter 76. Wild Ride
Rick opened his eyes to the bright light that was directly focused on him. He couldn’t look through the light. The brilliance of the light is blinding.
“Anyone day?” he said in a tiny voice.
His voice had become weak, and so was his strength. He’s tied to a wooden chair at the center of a warehouse.
He tried to break loose from the rope. The more he tries, the weaker he realizes he is.
“What is going on?” he muttered, panting slowly.
He glanced; there was no sign of anyone. Only dozens of tires piled up in every corner.
“Someone there?” he inquired once more in his fading voice.
“Save your strength,” Logan’s voice escaped from behind one of the tires piled up. He walks out from behind the tires and makes his way to Rick. “You look pathetic.” He scowled at Rick. The more he stared at Rick with a scowling gaze, the more lesser he made himself.
