Chapter 6

I looked at Elera awkwardly, unsure of what to say. We both knew what our mission was, but we didn’t want to draw attention to ourselves by openly discussing it in front of our colleagues. We made our way to the closet, hoping for some privacy.

As soon as we were alone, Elera turned to me and said, “So, do you have any ideas on how we can break into Memphis’ office?”

I thought for a moment before responding. “Well, we could try to sneak in after hours. Maybe we could bribe a janitor to let us in or something.”

Elera nodded thoughtfully. “That could work, but it’s risky. We could get caught on camera or by security guards. We need a more foolproof plan.”

Elera nodded in agreement. “You’re right. We need to be smart about this. Let’s brainstorm some more ideas and see what we come up with.”

We spent the next hour huddled in the closet, whispering back and forth as we tried to come up with a plan. Eventually, we settled on a plan to disguise ourselves as j
