Chapter 51

Maxine was dumbfounded at a loss, still wondering who her twin was because Tania didn’t seem to want to tell her.

Then, a few moments later, Maxine and Stanley said goodbye to go home immediately after receiving a call from Stacy informing them that Elaine wouldn’t stop crying.

Before leaving, Maxine said she would come back to the hospital the following day to visit again. Still, Diego informed her that Tania may be discharged once she was feeling better.

Maxine just nodded and then left with Stanley.

After a moment, Stanley drove quietly. But a few moments later, Maxine broke the silence. “Hon, do you know who my twin is? Do you have any idea about her?” she inquired.

Stanley stopped abruptly, appearing astonished by Maxine’s query.

Maxine gave Stanley a stern look because of his behavior. She was confused.

“I’m nervous, Hon. That something might suddenly change between us when you find out who your twin is, and I don’t want that to happen
