Chloe’s POV
Mia didn’t waste time.
She pulled a small notebook from her bag and flipped it open.
“Start from the beginning,” she said. “Security layout. Cameras. Entry points. What did you see?”
I described everything carefully. The gate rotation. The garage side panel. The foyer layout. The staircases. The keypad door at the end of the corridor.
She listened without interrupting.
“Keypad means numeric code,” she said after a moment. “Four digits?”
“Yes.”
“Most people use dates they won’t forget. Birthdays. Anniversaries. Children’s birth years.”
My mind moved quickly.
“Twenty-seven years of marriage,” I murmured. “Their wedding anniversary.”
“Try variations of it,” she said. “Year. Day and month. Combinations.”
“If that fails?”
“Then we need the staff.”
I frowned slightly.
“There are at least two maids,” I said. “And possibly a night security guard.”
