Chapter 7
James
It’s Saturday morning, and I plan on getting as much sleep as I can, but my phone won’t stop vibrating. I open my eyes briefly to check my phone. Sigh. I toss the phone across the dresser when I see who the sender is. Sarah. She’s been blowing my phone with text messages since last night, and I haven’t replied to any. I actually don’t know if I’m still mad at her right now, or I just can’t be bothered with the drama right now. Anyway, I ignore her and try to get more sleep. I made plans to meet up with Kate later on, and I want to be well-rested before then.
I can’t figure out why the thought of seeing Kate excites me as much as it does. I try to wipe off the smile that’s making its way through the corners of my mouth as I rush off the bed ten minutes later.
