I wake up with a smile on my face. I’ve been on cloud nine since last night. I pick up my phone and glance at the screen. It’s 10:30 on a Sunday morning. I must have overslept. I chatted with James all through the night and only fell asleep at 4 a.m. this morning. I should probably sleep some more, but I force myself out of bed. I have a coffee date with James Riverra today. Well, not a date, but something like it. He had asked if I could hang out with him today. Not to study, but just to hang out.

We’ve been studying a lot lately, and I got an A on my last chemistry test. So, we decided to hang out as a break from studying and to celebrate my improvement. That’s all it is, but I haven’t stopped smiling since he asked me.
