Reina's Pov

I rubbed my wrist where Kylian's fingers had been digging into my skin. I was starting to feel scared and I didn't know what was going to happen next. "What do you want from me?" I asked him, my voice shaking.

Kylian had dragged me from the engagement hall, through the kitchen and now we were standing in the garden. I tried to back away, but he pulled me towards him. "I want you to tell me the truth. Did you send the DNA results to my mother?" he demanded.

I shook my head. "No, I didn't. I promise you. Someone else must have found out about your son."

Kylian's face was a mask of anger and disbelief. "I don't believe you. Who else would have access to that information?"

I swallowed, trying to gather my thoughts. "I don't know. Maybe someone at the lab, or maybe it was a mistake. But I swear, I had nothing to do with it."

Kylian's grip on my arm tightened. "I need to know the truth. This is important to me."

"I am telling you the truth!"
