She still couldn’t process it all. But she couldn’t deny that she’d liked it when he commanded her, when his deep voice growled in her ear, ordering to come for him. She’d liked it, and it had turned her on, but how much further would it go? And could she go there with him?
Gia’s heart pounded as they pulled into David’s drive—his large house with its surrounding courtyard coming into view. It was beautiful, and impressive, but in the daylight she realized that it wasn’t quite as large as she’d thought the night before. It was big, but surely a man who bought and sold companies for a living could afford something larger. She remembered how humble he’d been after saving that man’s life the first day they’d met, realizing that this humility carried over into his choice of car and home. He clearly didn’t live to impress everyone.
