The morning came so soon that Gia felt as if she hadn’t even closed her eyes. It had been whirlwind weekend of watching as a moving company packed up anything she needed in her apartment and moved it to David’s house. He’d been honest when he said that she could keep her apartment open to her at all times. He even insisted that she leave enough things there that if she ever wanted to move back in, she could do it without a single second thought.

Gia was beginning to think she never would want to move away from David again.

His beautiful house had become her home over the past three days, as her things found their place in his home and she became spoiled by the lifestyle. He had a pool, his own home gym, a housekeeper who cooked, a driver if he ever needed one—anything she’d ever dreamed about. And he managed to have it all but still be completely humble and normal.
