Chapter 6
David waited while she took deep breaths, first removing the ties from her ankles, then her wrists. Finally, he took off the blindfold, and the first sight she saw was his blue eyes. They were intense, turned on with a hint of concern.
“Are you alright?” he asked, the deep, growly quality gone from his voice.
“Yes,” she said, her breath still coming hard. “That was... amazing.”
His smile lit up his face and he kissed her until she caught her breath, slowly moving his lips against hers until her heart rate had slowed to normal.
“So that’s what happens when I come to your house in the middle of the afternoon,” she finally said when he’d stood up from the bed, collecting his clothes.
“That’s just one of the things that can happen,” he said. “We can do whatever you want now.”
She thought for a moment, looking down at her body covered in a thin layer of sweat, his scent and hers mingled on her skin.
“I want to go swimming,” she said.
