Chapter 4
“I think a swim sounds good,” she said, clearing her throat and trying to change the subject. She just wasn’t sure if she was ready for that step. She wasn’t sure if she could put her friendship, her job, and the most important thing—her heart—on the line. Moving in with them was a huge step, and, as badly as she wanted to say yes, part of her was still hesitating.
Kyle walked up behind her and snaked his hands around her waist, resting his chin on her shoulder. His warm breath tickled her ear. “Stop stressing,” he said, kissing her lightly on the neck.
Travis moved in front of her and leaned on the counter. He hooked his finger inside the elastic band of her floor-length bo-ho skirt and pulled her forward between his thighs. Kyle moved with her as Travis’s hands rested lightly on her hip, just below Kyle’s arms. Travis’s thumb teased the skin just beneath her shirt.
