Chapter 3
Later that evening the three of them sat in a restaurant, doing all the things normal couples did. They told jokes, and she laughed. They asked about her day and were genuinely interested. A few times they caught a few curious glances from customers as one would lean in and whisper something or steal a kiss, and then the other would do the same.
They were walking back to Travis’s giant hummer, her safely tucked between them as they walked when both men grabbed her hands. The three of them walked down the sidewalk. She was happy, but the tiny hairs on the back of her neck began to stand on end. She looked over her shoulder, unable to hide the feeling that they were being watched.
She dropped their hands and tried to casually cross her arms over her chest. However, it wasn’t that easy to slip past their suspicions.
“I don’t know,” she shrugged. “I just feel like someone is watching us.”
Both of the guys looked behind them.
“I don’t see anybody,” Kyle said
