"I think that covers everything, gentlemen." CEO Christopher Wolfe turned from the convention center conferenced into his wall-size viewing screen and smiled at the men seated in front of his desk. "Miss Easton has already sent out copies of the contract, budget and projected completion dates to your offices. Do you have any questions?"
"Yes. Where did you find such an efficient assistant?" the center director asked. "And how can I steal her away from you?"
"I wouldn't let her go for a million dollars," Christopher told him.
That made the other men chuckle. Lacey gave her boss a wry look before she picked up a tray and began collecting coffee cups. A million dollars was one of the reasons she now worked as Christopher Wolfe's personal assistant, not that she could tell his clients that -- or divulge any of the other details involved in her decidedly unorthodox employment.
