Chapter 12. Detection

Sophia's POV

We have already arrived at the forest grounds by the school. Miss Helen explained to me that we would just really be finding our pairs. She apologized and admitted only to me that they purposely handicapped some of the students, and it had already started a while ago! None of us even noticed. She then chuckled and shared that my pheromones and Carter's played a big part in helping them.

While we were recklessly releasing our pheromones, they immediately concealed some of the students' presence and emitted some of their pheromones too, but since it was chaos, nobody was aware of it. 

She also opened up that Sir Payne purposely riled Carter up to help them confuse the scents. My jaw dropped. If that is the case and nobody knows but me, then we are all fucked up. It would take hours to find our pairs. Adding to that, I don't know w
