Sophia’s POV

“C-could you repeat that!?”

“Nope.” I waved my finger, and he held my shoulders with eager eyes. “Please?? Just once!”

I gave up and tenderly looked at him, “Baby. Don’t be mad anymore.”

He smiled like a fool and hung his head low. He was actually kind of embarrassed when I should have been the one shying away!

“I should be mad because you’re defending that asshole, but if that meant hearing you call me baby, then I guess it’s worth it.”

I scoffed at him, and he pulled me into an embrace. He’s getting clingier by the day. When he pulled away, he placed his school coat on my shoulders because I was subtly shivering from the cold.

“On a serious note, who do you think did it?” He asked.
