Sophia’s POV
Before I resorted to running, I laid down on the ground first. Since I am in the garden, coincidentally, there are a bunch of white flowers like baby’s breath, lilies, chrysanthemums, and the like. I totally camouflaged with Lia's silver-white fur. Holding my breath at the same time intensified my concealment as I awaited for the ringing bells to pass by the garden. I thought of myself as a flower, so that my conceal’s essence would be the same and not a big space of nothing. That would clearly arouse suspicion.
They didn’t bother to conceal themselves to reserve their strength. The bells would make them noticeable anyway, so there’s that.
“I think no Shadow would be stupid enough to be searching here.” I heard Ben’s voice.
Lia cackled as she hummed in my head, ‘He actually called you stupid, Pia!’
