Sophia’s POV

We arrived at the entrance, and Hatchett was there. Brows furrowed, and her face frowned when she saw my arms linking with Jacob’s. It was as if her glares wanted to burn me alive and I am sure if she is capable to do so she had already done it right at this very moment.

“Dear? What is the meaning of this?” She awkwardly chuckled as she glared at me, hoping I’ll back off and cower, and she shot some questioning looks at Jacob. Said looks even seem pleading.

“I already said do not call me that!” He roared, and the students that were just passing by or were only about to enter stopped. They whispered amongst themselves as they once again witnessed their fickle Spade.

“You dare go with her!?” She made big strides and was about to slap my mate, but I caught her hand and threw it away with so much force. She staggered and almost fell, but her two little backups arrived to catch her just in time before her butt reached the ground.
