Chapter 26. Defiance
As we hurryingly paced to the dormitories of the men, we passed by the king of suits. I immediately blocked their way to stop them in their tracks. Carter was shocked to see my pure white fur flaunt in front of them. The others gave us a nod as acknowledgement of our presence. But everyone was equally surprised, as well.
"Why do you always wolf out whenever we meet?" He annoyingly asked as he placed his bag on the ground. More like hastily tossed it. I tilted my head with a 'What are you doing?' kind of look on my face, and he just stared at me while taking off his school coat. I unconsciously gulped at the tension.
"Don't shift back here. Go to a much more private place," he demanded, trying to make sure that nobody else but him could see my body. Why am I not surprised right now? Maybe it’s because of his attitude the other day. Which again, probably is just Luke.
