Chapter 47. Sneaky Branches

Simultaneously, Xander was grabbed by his hind legs, and my beta was grabbed from his stomach. It was utter chaos as the four of us, who had not been dragged, tried our best to evade the branches. It made an effort to catch us, but we all jumped from side to side so that it wouldn't. My gamma and I tried to help Brian. We ran to each side and bit the branches off of his legs. Jacob and Henry rushed to help Rhian, leaving Xander to cuss out loud.

"Wow! So much for being friends!" He argued, but still tried to wiggle his way out. Only his branches are thick, and the grasp on him was too tight.
