Chapter 21. Davies

Queen and Sheila spent the day together while waiting for Mark at the bakery. Davies never took his eyes off Queen and Sheila throughout the time she’d spent with Queen, his lips curled into a smile when he saw Queen acting all out, he’d never seen her this excited. She rarely had female friends even among their pack members, she barely talked with anyone apart from him.

When Queen shifted closer to Sheila, Davies’s heart skipped a beat, it felt like something was trying to pull his heart out, the pain was so intense that his cheeks turned red, he rubbed his chest. “Calm down, no one is stealing her from you,” he muttered.

Jonathan noticed the way Davies had been looking at Queen and his sister, he didn’t want to meddle with Davies’s business, but it was obvious that Davies had a thing for Queen.

‘Too bad for him, William already has his eyes set on her,’ thought Jonathan, feeling pity for his new friend.
