Chapter 22. Assembly

The sounds of excited students heading out for assembly filled the air, and Sheila caught up with Queen, bumping shoulders with her.

“Hey, grumpy, did you sleep well last night.” Sheila asked, looking perfect as usual.

Queen halted and looked at Sheila, her eyes narrowed, her lips puckered, she was about to burst into tears, she couldn’t believe what happened last night with Davies, her heart wasn’t able to handle the ordeal.
